01Why I joined OGISHI Vietnam

The main reason I applied to OGISHI Vietnam was the chance to help build the company from the ground up. I enjoy taking on new challenges and I am not put off by difficult work. I understood that a newly established company would have a great many problems to solve, above all the design of its internal operating systems. I wanted to take on all three areas at once, administration, accounting and human resources, and by helping to build the HR framework, the working processes, the financial controls and the administrative structure from day one, I could make a real contribution to the company while pushing past the limits of my own ability.

02What I do today

In my current role I am responsible for controlling receipts and payments, preparing the periodic accounting reports and optimising the company operating budget. I also directly manage general administration and the upkeep of our facilities, and I represent the company before the state authorities on legal procedures. On the HR side I handle salary and bonus policy and social insurance for our staff, and I work with the team to drive recruitment so the company always has the people it needs.

03What makes the work rewarding

Being trusted by the management board to use my own judgement and take the initiative is something I value greatly. The complex problems and the pressure that arise each day do not make me step back. On the contrary, they are what sharpens my independent thinking and my resolve. I find real meaning in the work I do now, and I intend to keep giving it my best and to work alongside my colleagues so the company grows and goes further still.
